What Jim and Karen have created with this group is invaluable. I have heard how Jim and Karen wanted to start this group because it is exactly what they were looking for when they started their real estate company. Unfortunately, a coaching and support group wasn’t available when they started but they have taken what they’ve learned and given back to us.I’ll be honest, at first, I thought as though these guys were much different than me, a different breed. I thought the reason they were successful was because they had a natural born knack for sales, negotiating, relationship building, and a fearless ambition. I now realize they are no different than I, they have gone through all of the struggles and mind games as I have. The only difference is they decided to work and develop the skills it takes to become successful.
Isn’t it interesting to reflect and remember how scared we were the first time we tried something new? We were excited yet cautious of the unknown. We naturally want to analyze and learn how to do things before we try them.
This also happened to me, when I decided I wanted to help my family by learning to invest in real estate. I had the burning desire, however, it just wasn’t enough to get me out of the boat. I am the type of person that needs support in order to feel secure about taking big steps in new directions.
As I spend more time around the Triad Mastermind group (the Real Estate investment Group that Jim, and Karen founded) I realize that this was a normal feeling that most of us felt in the beginning. However, within the support of this local group, I have seen how quickly people go from being anxious to being on fire with excitement.
Initially I thought that all I needed to do to become successful was to get a great education and then learn to apply them. This is the fundamental part, however soon found my attitude, my relationship skills, my confidence and my entire outlook on life took a positive change.
I was fortunate to be involved in the triad mastermind group since the beginning, however, the level of education and support has only grown since then. The new investors that are getting involved are coming in and developing the same level of education in months that took me years to develop.
Since getting involved with Jim, Karen and Kiet, I have purchased 6 properties. With their help I have now developed around 200,000 in equity and 1400/month cash flow. On a side note, some of this cash flow is coming from multiple promissory notes that the sellers are still paying for purchasing their home (they had to pay us to buy their house).
I would highly recommend the triad mastermind group and coaching to anyone regardless of your level of real estate investing experience.
